Drink a few beers, bowl a few frames, and watch us ordinary average guys play some awesome tunes! Seriously though, it's a bowling alley on the first floor.

NAUTICAL DISASTER

Tragically Hip Tribute Act

Experience the enigmatic performance of Nautical Disaster, Canada's most authentic Tragically Hip Tribute Act. With musicians who nail every solo and a lead singer who captivates audiences, this band brings Gord Downie's essence to life. Ryan's theatrical flair and vocal prowess create an unforgettable performance that pulls you in and leaves you breathless. While no one can truly be The Hip, Nautical Disaster stands out as the closest homage to their incredible legacy. With us, you can relive the greatest moments of the Tragically Hip, or discover and explore their music for the first time.

Nautical Disaster has been performing for the past seven years, with a few changes to the lineup along the way. Our fan base has expanded, and we have been adding new songs to our set list to keep things fresh and exciting. We love playing deep cuts and big hits from The Tragically Hip, and making each performance special for our audience. We are proud of what we have accomplished so far and can't wait to see what the future holds for our band.

About the band...

Nautical Disaster was formed in 2018 by frontman Ryan LeBlanc, after hearing enough people at karaoke nights tell him to start his own Tragically Hip tribute act. With vocals set, finding the musicians wasn't tough. Rodney VanSpengen (Drums) has been with the project since the beginning, with Harry Somers (Bass/Vocals) joining about 8 months in, Stéphane Côté (Guitar/Vocals) has been with the band for two years but knew most of the members personally before joining, and Graham Francis (Guitar) joined us in 2025. The Band has survived the Covid Lockdown, and our lead singer getting married! Played shows on beaches, docks, boathouses, backyards & festivals, during heat domes & atmospheric rivers. A tight-knit group of guys who love what we do, professional and easy to work with.
